Perspective corrections in Affinity Photo 2
Millions of words (probably) have been written on basic photo fixes and how to do them, but perspective correction is often overlooked. This is where the tops of tall buildings converge, and when it’s done deliberately as an obvious creative effect it’s fine. However, any slight convergence or tilt just looks sloppy, a mistake. Even if viewers can’t quite put their finger on the issue, it’s one of the things that can make photos look amateurish.
Like other photo editors, Affinity Photo 2 has tools for correcting perspective issues, and this article explains how its perspective correction tools work.
It’s also the last in a series of Affinity Photo 2 tutorials I produced for Amateur Photographer in conjunction with Serif. All of these tutorials can also be watched as videos on Amateur Photographer’s YouTube channel.
