Affinity Photo 2 for iPad

Like Photoshop, Affinity Photo 2 has an iPad edition. In fact, Affinity was the first to produce an iPad version, long before Adobe, and it’s a remarkably fully featured app that has most of the tools of the full desktop version and is extremely well adapted for a touch interface.

This article is a basic tutorial on how it works and what you can do with it. Affinity does not have an equivalent to Adobe’s Creative Cloud online ecosystem, so the iPad version shares files with the Affinity Photo 2 desktop application via Apple’s iCloud setup. It’s pretty basic by comparison but works perfectly well and for many users it’s going to be perfectly adequate.
